Terms of Service

Last updated: August 6, 2026

These terms govern your use of the buzzba.com website and Buzzba Core, the barbershop management application at core.buzzba.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

1. What Buzzba Core does

Buzzba Core is a record-keeping and scheduling tool for barbershops. It lets a shop record daily sales per barber, record and approve expenses, manage bookings and walk-ins, publish a shop to the public directory and keep an audit trail of who changed what.

Buzzba does not take payments, hold funds or act as a payment processor. Amounts recorded in Buzzba Core are figures your shop enters. They are a record of what you say happened, not proof of a transaction, and Buzzba does not verify them.

2. Accounts and roles

  • An owner or manager registers the business, creates its shops and invites barbers by email. Invitations expire.
  • A barber joins an existing business by invitation and works within it. A barber belongs to one business at a time.
  • A customer account is used to make and track bookings.
  • An owner who also cuts hair uses a single account for both, rather than two logins.

You must give accurate registration details and verify your email address. Owner accounts that are never verified are deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.

3. Your data and your customers

The business records you put into Buzzba Core belong to you. We store and process them to provide the service, as set out in the Privacy Policy.

When you enter a customer's name, phone number or email address you are responsible for having a proper basis to do so, and for how your shop uses those details. Buzzba processes them on your instructions. If a customer asks you to correct or remove their details, that is your request to answer.

4. Records, locks and the audit trail

Sales entries, expense entries and booking changes are recorded with a snapshot of the values before and after the change, who made it and the role they held at the time. You cannot switch the audit trail off, and it survives the deletion of the record it describes. This is deliberate: it is what makes the shop's books checkable.

A manager can lock a shop's day. Once locked, sales for that shop and date cannot be added or edited by barbers. Managers can still make corrections, and those corrections are recorded.

Buzzba Core can work offline and queues entries made without a connection, sending them when the device reconnects. Queued entries are not saved until they reach our servers, and can be refused at that point, for example if the day has since been locked. Check that your entries appear before relying on them.

5. Integrity flags

Buzzba Core automatically flags patterns worth a second look, such as an unusually late cancellation or a figure that departs from a barber's history, and shows those flags to the business's managers. A flag is a prompt to check something. It is not a finding of wrongdoing, and Buzzba makes no accusation about any person. Decisions you take about your staff on the basis of a flag are yours alone.

6. The public directory

A shop can choose to appear in the public directory on buzzba.com. If you publish a shop you confirm you may share the details you publish, including its name, description, location and images, and that you hold the rights to any image you upload. We may remove a listing that is inaccurate, unlawful or misleading.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to break the law or to harass anyone.
  • Access, or try to access, data belonging to a business that is not yours.
  • Probe, scrape, overload or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
  • Upload malicious code, or content you do not have the right to upload.
  • Share your login with someone who should have their own account.

8. Fees

Buzzba Core is currently provided at no charge. If we introduce fees we will give account holders notice by email before any charge applies, and you will be able to stop using the service instead of paying.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account or a business that breaches these terms, that is being used unlawfully, or where suspension is needed to protect the service or other users. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why.

You can close your account at any time. Deletion behaves differently for owners, customers and barbers, and the exact effect on each is set out in the Privacy Policy. In short: an owner's deletion is scheduled 30 days ahead and can be cancelled by logging back in, a customer's is immediate, and a barber is removed by their manager. When an owner's account is deleted, the business is deactivated, its barbers are unlinked and upcoming bookings are cancelled. Export anything you want to keep before the 30 days run out.

10. Availability

We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features. Where a change materially reduces what the service does for you, we will give notice where we reasonably can.

11. Our intellectual property

The Buzzba software, brand, name and logo belong to us. These terms give you permission to use the service, not ownership of it. Nothing here transfers our intellectual property to you, and nothing transfers yours to us.

12. No warranty

The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind so far as the law allows. In particular, Buzzba is not an accounting, tax, payroll or legal service, and its reports are not professional advice. You remain responsible for your own books and for meeting your own tax and employment obligations.

13. Limitation of liability

So far as the law allows, Buzzba is not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost or inaccurate business records, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will notify account holders by email of changes that materially affect them. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
